The Master's Degree Programme in Advertising Communication, Storytelling and Visual Culture

trains specialists in strategic management within the field of communication, capable of enhancing the internal and external image of institutions and businesses. Alongside a theoretical understanding of strategic communication, graduates of the Master's Degree Programme in Advertising Communication possess advanced skills in the design and development of communication plans, including at an international level, thanks to their fluent knowledge of multiple foreign languages.

    Graduates will be qualified to hold positions of responsibility in the field of communication within

    public, private, and non-profit organisations, both in Italy and internationally; in communication and advertising agencies, press and public relations offices, publishing and multimedia companies, media centres, as well as television and film production companies. Additional relevant professional fields include editorial offices of radio, television, and online publications, daily newspapers and periodicals, and news agencies.

    • The award of a Master’s Degree in Advertising Communication, Storytelling

      and Corporate Culture, LM92 Degree Class (Communication Theory), grants eligibility for the new teaching qualification: A-65 Theory and Techniques of Communication. This subject may be taught in the second two-year period of Technical Institutes, Technological sector, Graphics and Communication pathway.p>

      To be eligible for the teaching qualification, students in the second year of the programme

      must include in their study plan the exam in International Journalism Sociology taught by Prof. Rolando Marini (SPS/08), within the RICS Master’s Degree Programme.

      To be admitted to the Master's Degree Programme in Advertising Communication, Storytelling and Image

      Culture, students must hold a three-year bachelor's degree or university diploma, or another qualification obtained abroad and recognised as suitable. In addition, to enrol in the aforementioned programme, students must:
      • meet the required curricular prerequisites
      • attend an entrance interview. Candidates
      may take the interview provided they meet the curricular prerequisites

      Any additional ECTS credits

      required to fulfil the curricular prerequisites must be obtained before enrolling in the Master’s Degree Programme and before the assessment of individual preparation, at any University, by enrolling in single-module courses within first-cycle degree programmes.

      The possession

      of curricular prerequisites will be verified by the Degree Programmes and Teaching Office of the University, to which students may send their documentation by email to segreteria.laurea@unistrapg.it or submit it directly to the office (Palazzina Orvieto, Viale C. Manuali, 9 – 06123 Perugia).

      To verify

      the curricular prerequisites, students are required to provide:
      • a copy of the degree certificate
      (for graduates) including the list of exams taken, the corresponding ECTS credits and the related scientific disciplinary sectors
    • a copy of the transcript of exams already taken and those yet to be taken
    • (for graduands), stating the credits obtained and still to be obtained, as well as the related scientific disciplinary sectors.
