Intercultural Laboratory

Target audience: all University students, with particular attention to international students

Duration: April – June 2026

Objective: to create opportunities for dialogue and guided reflection on intercultural topics among students, in order to explore diversity, reduce discomfort caused by communication and relationship difficulties arising from cultural differences, and to improve the overall academic experience.

Coordinated by Dr Alice Aguiari, project Moebius associate, serving as a facilitator for cultural mediation and student inclusion in the context of academic activities.

  • Comparing major traditional and religious holidays across different cultures and how they are adapted to the Italian academic calendar

  • Discussion on the concept of free time in different cultures
  • Overview of recreational activities in Italy and leisure opportunities in the Perugia area
  • A walk around Perugia to discover points of interest: theatres, cinemas, shops, bars, museums, parks
