The University for Foreigners of Perugia, in accordance with constitutional principles, contributes—within the scope of its resources and competences—to promoting and ensuring the academic freedom of its faculty in research activities, by providing the necessary tools and activating appropriate incentives.
Each year, the University for Foreigners of Perugia allocates funds from its own university budget to provide grants supporting the scientific publications of its professors, researchers, and PhD holders, with the aim of supporting the research activities carried out by its academic community and enhancing their visibility and the dissemination of results.
Beginning in 2020, the procedure for allocating university funds for the production of scientific publications has been conducted in accordance with the provisions of the Regulation issued by Rectoral Decree No. 185 of July 2, 2020.
