Advanced training courses are open to those who hold at least a first-cycle degree.
Advanced training courses do not confer an academic qualification but provide certificates of attendance and may award university credits (CFU), which may be recognised in a first-cycle or second-cycle degree programme, or in a first or second level master's programme, provided they are consistent with the characteristics of the courses attended.
Advanced training courses are primarily intended for individuals who are already employed or who have already embarked upon their professional career.
