Framework agreement for international academic cooperation between the Université de Caen-Normandie and the Università per Stranieri di Perugia aimed at awarding a double degree: the Bachelor's degree in "Italian Language and Culture in the Digital World" from the Università per Stranieri di Perugia and the "Langues Littératures et Civilisations Étrangères et Régionales" (LLCER), Italian track, from the Université de Caen-Normandie.
Students of the University for Foreigners of Perugia who wish to enroll in the double degree program and meet the admission requirements must submit their application to the Registrar’s Office (application form, curriculum vitae, and motivation letter in Italian and French) at the time of enrollment in the second year of the program, by the end of October.

- in the second year of the Bachelor's degree in Italian Language and Culture in the Digital World (LiCIMoD) at the time of submitting the application for admission to the double degree program
or - in the third year of the Bachelor's degree and have obtained at least 120 ECTS credits at the time of departure for the double degree mobility
- in the second year of the Bachelor's degree in Italian Language and Culture in the Digital World (LiCIMoD) at the time of submitting the application for admission to the double degree program
- have certified proficiency in French at a minimum level of B1 (DUEF, DELF, DALF, or an assessment test administered by the partner university)
The number of students admitted to the double degree programme is agreed upon each year and includes a maximum of ten students per University.
The mobility period corresponds to the third academic year of the degree programme; it is not divisible and may be combined with an Erasmus+ mobility period (by applying within the annual Erasmus call deadlines).
During the mobility period, students are required to attend the courses set out in the study plan developed by the two Universities and to pass all required examinations, for a total of 60 ECTS credits, including the mandatory internship.
Students participating in the double degree programme
- will be enrolled at both institutions during the academic year and will pay tuition fees only at their home university
- will be considered by both parties as full-fledged students, enjoying the same benefits, rights, and responsibilities as regular students. In particular, they will have access to courses, tutorials, laboratory internships, seminars, and conferences
- will therefore hold student status at both institutions
- will comply with the internal regulations of the host institution and all legal obligations of the host country
- must comply with the legislation in force in the host country, particularly regarding health insurance and social security
Both universities will be responsible for all administrative enrolment procedures and management of the student files of those coming from the partner university, through their respective student administration offices and the academic coordinators for the double degree programme.
Students are required to attend classes regularly and take the corresponding exams in accordance with the regulations established by the host university.
During their study period abroad, students must comply with the rules set by the host institution regarding the organization of teaching activities as well as the procedures for conducting and assessing examinations.
Courses will be delivered in French.
Students of the University for Foreigners of Perugia take a final examination at the Université de Caen-Normandie at the end of their mobility period (third year), in accordance with the regulations of the Université de Caen-Normandie governing the award of the degree. As part of this examination, students are required to complete a final project, preferably agreed upon with the University for Foreigners of Perugia, for the purpose of awarding the LiCIMoD degree.
The final dissertation may address the same topics required for the final examination at the Université de Caen-Normandie.
By way of exception to the thesis regulations of the University for Foreigners of Perugia, the final examination at the Université de Caen-Normandie will therefore be considered as the thesis defense also for the University for Foreigners of Perugia, provided that a member of the academic staff from the University for Foreigners of Perugia participates in the examination board, either in person or via teleconference.
Nevertheless, students must submit a formal thesis application by email to the Registrar’s Office of the University for Foreigners of Perugia, pay the relevant fee, and send a copy of the final dissertation before the thesis defense at the Université de Caen-Normandie.
