Student Representatives Board

By provision of the Rector (R.D. no. 118 of 29/05/2014), the Student Representatives' Council was established, effective from the date of the same Decree.

According to Article 18, paragraph 2, of the University Statute, the Council:

  • provides opinions to the governing bodies of the University:
    • upon their explicit request
    • on its own initiative, concerning all matters of student interest and in particular regarding educational activities, student services, the right to study, student fees and contributions, and forms of student participation in service activities
  • submits to the Academic Senate proposals for approval of the Student Charter
  • appoints student representatives to the Committee for University Sports
  • provides the Board of Governors with its opinion regarding the appointment of the Student Advocate
  • proposes the inclusion of a student component in commissions and working groups
  • adopts, in accordance with University Regulations, its own internal Regulation
  • exercises any other responsibilities conferred upon it by law, the Statute or University Regulations
