Student Representatives Board

By Rector’s Decree (D.R. No. 118 of 29/05/2014), the Board of Student Representatives was established, effective from the date of the Decree.

Pursuant to Article 18, paragraph 2, of the University Statute, the Board:

  • provides opinions to the University bodies:
    • upon their explicit request
    • on its own initiative, on any matters of student interest and, in particular, regarding teaching activities, student services, the right to study, student fees and contributions, and the methods by which students may participate in service activities
  • submits proposals to the Academic Senate for the approval of the Student Charter
  • appoints student representatives to the University Sports Committee
  • expresses an opinion to the Board of Governors regarding the appointment of the Student Ombudsperson
  • proposes the inclusion of a student representative in committees and working groups
  • adopts its own Internal Regulations, in compliance with the University Regulations
  • carries out any other duties assigned by law, the Statute, or University Regulations
