The Nucleo di Valutazione of the University for Foreigners of Perugia was established pursuant to Law 240/2010 and Article 15 of the current Statute and is responsible for:
- ensuring the evaluation of teaching, research activities, and services
- promoting the improvement of the quality and effectiveness of the University’s educational, research, and administrative activities
Pursuant to Article 2, paragraph 1, letter r) of Law 240/2010, the Nucleo di Valutazione is assigned the functions set out in Article 14 of Legislative Decree 150/2009 (Independent Performance Evaluation Body) regarding the evaluation procedures of structures and personnel, in order to improve organisational and individual performance.
Members of the Nucleo di Valutazione are appointed for a three-year term, except for the student representative, who serves a two-year term; each term may be renewed consecutively only once. The Nucleo operates autonomously and is ensured access to all necessary information and data, as well as the publication and dissemination of its acts, in compliance with current legislation and data protection regulations.
With Rectoral Decree no. 173 dated 30/04/2026, the Evaluation Committee of the University for Foreigners of Perugia has been reconstituted for the 2026-2029 triennium.
The term of office for the current members of the Evaluation Committee, pursuant to Article 15, paragraph 5, of the current Statute, is three years (from 01/05/2026 to 30/04/2029), except for the appointment of the student representative, which has a duration of two years.
The Evaluation Committee is currently composed of the following members:

The coordinator of the Evaluation Unit is entitled to an annual gross compensation of €6,972.16, excluding charges payable by the Institution. Members of the Evaluation Unit are entitled to an annual gross compensation of €6,507.40, excluding charges payable by the Institution.
