The Evaluation Committee of the University for Foreigners of Perugia was established pursuant to Law 240/2010, Article 15 of the current Statute, and is responsible for:
- ensuring the evaluation of teaching activities, research activities, and services
- promoting the improvement of the quality and effectiveness of the University's teaching, research, and administrative operations
Pursuant to Article 2, paragraph 1, letter r) of Law 240/2010, the Evaluation Committee is entrusted with the functions outlined in Article 14 of Legislative Decree 150/2009 (Independent Performance Evaluation Body) concerning procedures for the evaluation of structures and personnel, in order to promote improvements in both organizational and individual performance.
The members of the Evaluation Committee serve a three-year term, with the exception of the student representative, who serves a two-year term. All appointments may be consecutively renewed only once. The Committee operates autonomously and is guaranteed access to the necessary information and data, as well as the publication and dissemination of its acts, in compliance with current regulations and in protection of confidentiality.
By Rectoral Decree No. 173 of 30/04/2026, the Evaluation Board of the University for Foreigners of Perugia has been reconstituted for the 2026–2029 term.
Pursuant to Article 15, paragraph 5, of the current Statute, the mandate of the current members of the Evaluation Board is three years (from 01/05/2026 to 30/04/2029), except for the student representative, whose mandate lasts two years.

The Chair of the Evaluation Unit is entitled to an annual gross remuneration of €6,972.16, excluding employer social security contributions. Members of the Evaluation Unit are entitled to an annual gross remuneration of €6,507.40, excluding employer social security contributions.
