Participants will be provided with coffee breaks and meals on class days, as well as accommodation on Fridays.
The course provides knowledge in territorial marketing and territorial empowerment processes both to professionals already working, in various capacities, in public administration or private companies in the fields of management, communication and marketing, and to those in training who wish to acquire territorial marketing skills to support local businesses, industrial and tourism districts.
The training programme is structured into eight teaching modules:
- Economic policy and strategies of local authorities (12 hours)
- Territorial marketing strategies and tools (12 hours)
- Slow tourism experiences and local food-and-wine economy (12 hours)
- Digital promotion and online channels (12 hours)
- Collaboration, business networking and food-and-wine tourism (12 hours)
- Demand analysis and development of the tourism offer (12 hours)
- WORKSHOP Territorial branding and building the Norcia brand (12 hours)
- Storytelling and enhancement of local identity (12 hours)
Attendance is mandatory for at least 80% of the total course hours.
End-of-module assessments (multiple-choice tests) are foreseen, graded on a scale of thirty, which will be averaged for the final course grade, as well as the preparation of a territorial marketing project for the workshop (assessed for suitability).
The University for Foreigners of Perugia will issue participants a certificate of completion for the advanced training course “Community Brand Norcia: Territorial Business Storytelling for the NORCIA Brand” for the 2025-2026 academic year, with the recognition of 16 University Educational Credits (CFU), subject to meeting the attendance requirement and passing the end-of-module assessments.
Bachelor’s degree obtained under Ministerial Decree 270/04 or Ministerial Decree 509/99, or a degree awarded pursuant to the regulations in force prior to Ministerial Decree 509/99, or a foreign qualification recognised as equivalent.
To be admitted to the degree programme, applicants must submit an application following the procedures and within the deadline specified in the Call for Applications.
The Call for Applications is expected to be published in June 2026.
If the number of applications is less than or equal to the 20 available places, no selection will take place.
If the number of applications exceeds the 20 available places, a selection process will be carried out for admission to the course. The relevance of the candidates' degree thesis to the subject areas (SSD) covered by the course will be assessed based on:
- Thesis title
- Thesis SSD
- Degree mark
A ranking list will be drawn up based on the above criteria.
In the event of a tie, priority in the ranking will be given to applicants who:
- Are residents of municipalities in the 2016 Crater area, as identified in Annexes 1, 2, and 2-bis of Decree-Law 17 October 2016, No. 189
- Are employed by companies/professional practices with operational headquarters in municipalities in the 2016 Crater area, as identified in Annexes 1, 2, and 2-bis of Decree-Law 17 October 2016, No. 189
