Foreigners of Perugia is one of the founding members of ALTE (Association of Language Testers in Europe), established in 1991, and of the CLIQ association (Certificazione Lingua italiana di Qualità), which has included, since 2013, the four Italian official Certifying Bodies recognised in this role by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MAE).
