The policies implemented by UniStraPg aimed at promoting gender equality are inspired by the constitutional principles of equality, the United Nations 2030 Agenda, the European Union Gender Equality Strategy, and the National Strategy for Gender Equality 2021-2026.
Our initiatives are aimed at pursuing equality, respect for all differences, and gender equity, and are intended to build knowledge as a driving force to increase awareness that can bring about personal and social change.
Our University is a cultural institution that provides specialized and high-quality expertise, and as such, we believe we have a significant social responsibility to spread ideas aimed at achieving gender equality as widely as possible.
Addressing disparities in gender treatment means working to enable women to pursue the same objectives as men within a framework of fair comparison, equal responsibility, and recognition; it means fighting to dismantle gender stereotypes at every level of public and private life; it means attempting to change mainstream thinking that believes there is nothing left to claim, and structurally altering the perspective from which women are typically viewed.
The events, conferences, and seminars we organize are addressed to all members of the university community and the general public, with a focus on synergy and inclusivity between the University and local institutions, associations, and the third sector.
