Student Representatives Council

By decree of the Rector (D.R. no. 118 of 29/05/2014), the Board of Student Representatives was established, effective from the date of the same Decree.

Pursuant to Article 18, paragraph 2, of the University Statute, the Board:

  • provides opinions to the University bodies:
    • upon explicit request from them
    • on its own initiative, on any matter of interest to students and in particular on teaching activities, student services, the right to study, student fees and contributions, and methods for student collaboration in service activities
  • proposes to the Academic Senate the approval of the Student Charter
  • appoints student representatives to the University Sports Committee
  • provides an opinion to the Board of Governors regarding the appointment of the Student Ombudsman
  • proposes the inclusion of a student body member in committees and working groups
  • adopts its own internal regulations, in compliance with the University Regulations
  • exercises any other functions assigned to it by law, the Statute or the University Regulations
