By resolution of the Rector (D.R. no. 118 of 29/05/2014), the Student Representatives Board was established, effective from the date of the same decree.
Pursuant to Article 18, paragraph 2 of the University Statute, the Board:
- provides opinions to the University governing bodies:
- upon express request
- on its own initiative, on all matters of student interest, and in particular on teaching activities, student services, student support, student fees and tuition, and ways in which students can collaborate in service activities
- submits the Student Charter for approval to the Academic Senate
- appoints student representatives to the University Sports Committee
- provides the Board of Governors with an opinion regarding the appointment of the Student Ombudsman
- proposes the inclusion of a student member in committees and working groups
- adopts its own internal regulations in accordance with University Regulations
- exercises any other powers granted by law, the Statute or University Regulations
