By Rector’s decree (D.R. 192 of 19 May 2026), the Academic Senate of the University for Foreigners of Perugia has been reconstituted for the 2026-2029 term.
The Academic Senate is the governing body responsible for the scientific and educational management of the University. It is responsible for setting direction, planning, coordination, and integration of the University’s educational, research, and cultural activities.
Its members include the Rector, the Department Directors, and various representatives (Directors of Centres, faculty members, CEL, technical-administrative staff, and students).
The Director General, who acts as secretary, and the Deputy Rector participate without voting rights.

Remuneration: Members of the Academic Senate, with the exception of ex officio members (the Rector, Directors of Departments, Schools and Autonomous Centers), receive a gross attendance fee of €26.00 according to the resolution of the Board of Administration adopted on 21 June 1991. This amount is reduced by 10% as established by art. 6, paragraph 3 of Decree-Law 31 May 2010 no. 78, converted into law 30 July 2010, no. 122.
Pursuant to Legislative Decree no. 33/2013, as amended by Legislative Decree no. 97/2016, for those who hold positions on a voluntary basis it is no longer required to publish the data referred to in Article 14 of Legislative Decree no. 33/2013 (see ANAC Resolution no. 241/2017).
