By decree of the Rector (D.R. 192 of 19 May 2026), the Academic Senate of the Università per Stranieri di Perugia has been reconstituted for the 2026–2029 term.
The Academic Senate is the scientific and educational governing body of the University. It oversees the direction, planning, coordination and integration of the University’s teaching, research and cultural activities.
Its members include the Rector, the Department Directors, and various representatives (Centre Directors, academic staff, CEL, Technical and Administrative Staff, and students).
The Director General, who acts as secretary, and the Deputy Vice Rector participate without voting rights.

Remuneration: members of the Academic Senate, with the exception of ex officio members (the Rector, Directors of Departments, Schools and Autonomous Centres), receive a gross attendance fee of EUR 26.00 as determined by the resolution of the Board of Governors of 21 June 1991. This amount is reduced by 10% as provided by Article 6, paragraph 3 of Decree-Law of 31 May 2010 No. 78, converted by Law of 30 July 2010, No. 122.
Pursuant to Legislative Decree No. 33/2013, as amended by Legislative Decree No. 97/2016, for those who hold unpaid appointments, the publication of the data referred to in Article 14 of Legislative Decree No. 33/2013 is no longer required (see ANAC Resolution No. 241/2017).
