Framework agreement on international academic cooperation between the Université de Caen-Normandie and the Università per Stranieri di Perugia aimed at awarding a double degree: the Bachelor's degree in "Italian Language and Culture in the Digital World" from the Università per Stranieri di Perugia and the "Langues Littératures et Civilisations Étrangères et Régionales" (LLCER), Italian track, from the Université de Caen-Normandie.
Students of the Università per Stranieri di Perugia who wish to enroll in the double degree program and meet the admission requirements must submit their application to the Student Office (application form, curriculum vitae, and motivation letter in Italian and French) when registering for the second year of their course, by the end of October.
- be regularly enrolled
- in the second year of the Bachelor's Degree in Italian Language and Culture in the Digital World (LiCIMoD) at the time of submitting the application for the double degree programme
or - in the third year of the degree programme and have acquired at least 120 ECTS credits by the time of departure for the double degree mobility
- in the second year of the Bachelor's Degree in Italian Language and Culture in the Digital World (LiCIMoD) at the time of submitting the application for the double degree programme
- have documented proficiency in French at a minimum B1 level (DUEF, DELF, DALF, or assessment test by the partner university)
The number of students admitted to the double degree program is determined annually, with a maximum of ten students per university.
The mobility period corresponds to the third academic year of the degree program and cannot be split. It may be combined with an Erasmus+ mobility period, provided that students apply according to the annual Erasmus call deadlines.
During the mobility period, students are required to attend the courses specified in the study plan developed by both universities and to successfully complete all required examinations, for a total of 60 ECTS credits, including the mandatory internship.
Students participating in the double degree programme
- will be enrolled at both institutions during the current academic year and will pay tuition fees only at their home university
- will be regarded by both parties as fully enrolled students, with the same benefits, rights, and responsibilities as regular students. In particular, they will be admitted to courses, tutorials, laboratory internships, seminars, and conferences
- will therefore hold student status at both institutions
- will comply with the internal regulations of the host institution and with all legal obligations of the host country
- must comply with the applicable legislation of the host country, particularly with regard to health insurance and social security
Both universities will handle all administrative registration procedures and manage the student records of those coming from the partner university through their respective student offices and the faculty coordinators responsible for the double degree programme.
Students are required to attend classes regularly and take the corresponding exams in accordance with the regulations of the host university.
During their study period abroad, students must comply with the rules of the host institution regarding the organization of teaching activities, as well as the procedures for taking and assessing exams.
Courses will be taught in French.
Students of the Università per Stranieri di Perugia take a final examination at the Université de Caen-Normandie at the end of their mobility period (third year), in accordance with the regulations of the Université de Caen-Normandie for the awarding of the degree. As part of this examination, students complete a final paper, preferably agreed upon with the Università per Stranieri di Perugia, for the purpose of awarding the LiCIMoD degree.
The final paper may focus on the same topics required for the final examination at the Université de Caen-Normandie.
By way of exception to the thesis regulations of the Università per Stranieri di Perugia, the final examination at the Université de Caen-Normandie is therefore also considered as the thesis defense for the Università per Stranieri di Perugia, provided that a faculty member from the Università per Stranieri di Perugia participates in the examination board, including via remote connection.
Students must, in any case, submit a formal thesis application by email to the registrar's office of the Università per Stranieri di Perugia, pay the relevant fee, and send a copy of the final paper prior to the thesis defense at the Université de Caen-Normandie.
