The University for Foreigners of Perugia presents the new Communication and Guidance Campaign, developed within the PNRR-Guidance project “The Professions of the Future”, to support students in their academic and professional choices and to promote enrolment in bachelor’s and master’s degree programmes for the upcoming academic year.

The University has invited the entire Unistrapg community to take part in the launch event on 6 March 2026 at the University Campus on Viale Carlo Manuali: attending, alongside 200 students from high schools and secondary education institutes, will be current students enrolled in degree programmes and doctoral courses, as well as participants in Italian language and culture courses and the Marco Polo and Turandot programmes, together with academic staff and administrative personnel.

The campaign is based on an innovative communication strategy that leverages the special effects of Fake Out Of Home (FOOH) advertising to capture the attention of new generations (Gen Z) through Computer Generated Imagery (CGI) and social media. This technique involves creating realistic promotional videos featuring billboards and outdoor installations that exist solely in the digital realm. The visual surprise generated by 3D objects makes tangible the otherwise intangible elements inherent in choosing a university: knowledge, skills, tools, directions, and opportunities are transformed into a visual and perceptible experience through symbolic objects that physically emerge from the University’s spaces. The 3D elements were carefully modelled, animated and integrated into each scene using CGI to blend the digital with the real environment and create a convincing final illusion.

FOOH enables the University to stand out in a crowded landscape, positioning itself as an innovative institution that keeps pace with the latest digital trends and adopts contemporary and unconventional forms of communication. The video content sits at the intersection of reality and imagination, sparking viewers’ curiosity with the aim of increasing the visibility of the institutional brand and enhancing the impact and virality of its message.

A banner has been displayed on Palazzo Gallenga, allowing visitors to preview the immersive campaign experience via a dedicated QR code. The installation will remain on the façade of the historic University headquarters for the coming months, inviting the public to view the video content and discover more about the range of bachelor’s and master’s degree programmes offered by Unistra Perugia.

Among the upcoming guidance activities, on 14 and 15 April the University for Foreigners of Perugia will be present at the Perugia Student Fair at Umbria Fiere, to meet students interested in continuing their studies at our University, present the programmes, study plans and dedicated student services.
