Biographical Note

Graduated in Building Engineering-Architecture, in 2023 she obtained her PhD in Energy and Sustainable Development at the University of Perugia. In 2022, she spent a four-month research period as a Visiting Student Research Collaborator (VSRC) at Princeton University (New Jersey, USA), where she advanced her studies in innovative solutions for the built environment.

During her doctoral studies and subsequent years as a postdoctoral researcher, she participated and continues to participate in national research projects (PRIN, FISR, and other ministerial programmes) and international projects, mainly funded by the European Commission under Horizon 2020 and Horizon Europe.

Her scientific activity mainly focuses on: (i) the development and characterisation of advanced materials for enhanced energy efficiency and sustainability in buildings, and (ii) the analysis of environmental comfort through a multiphysics approach, with particular attention to thermal, visual, and acoustic domains.

Thanks also to collaboration with national and international industry partners, she has developed a scientific profile integrating theoretical, numerical, and experimental skills, as well as expertise in technology transfer and intellectual property valorisation. The main outcomes of her research are published in high-impact international journals, where she is the first author in more than half of the contributions.
