Nota biografica
She is an associate professor in Spanish Language and Translation at the University for Foreigners of Perugia. She is currently conducting research on the translation of Ernesto Sábato’s essays and his contribution to the controversial debate on the Argentine linguistic question, that is, the existence of an “Argentine language” reflected in the ideological and literary framework of the Latin American country. She has focused her attention on the “language of exile” in Cristina Peri Rossi and Alfonsina Storni. She has also concentrated on the phenomenon of migration in the enclaves of Ceuta and Melilla, and its implications in terms of linguistic coexistence and multiculturalism. She is a member of the editorial board of the Polispanica series (Guida Editori) and the Center for Comparative Area Studies (Asafal), and serves as Latin American Research Analyst for Emerics (Seoul, South Korea).
