Biographical Note

She is an Associate Professor of Language and Translation – Spanish Language at the University for Foreigners of Perugia. She is currently conducting research on the translation of Ernesto Sábato’s essays and his contribution to the controversial debate on the Argentine linguistic question, namely the existence of an "Argentine language," which is reflected in the ideological and literary framework of the Latin American country. She has devoted her attention to the "language of exile" in Cristina Peri Rossi and Alfonsina Storni. She has also focused on the migration phenomenon in the enclaves of Ceuta and Melilla and its implications in terms of linguistic coexistence and multiculturalism. She is a member of the editorial board of the Polispanica series (Guida Editori) and of the Comparative Area Studies Center (Asafal), and is a Latin American Research Analyst for Emerics (Seoul, South Korea).
