On 28 May, Prof. Valerio De Cesaris, Rector of the Università per Stranieri di Perugia, is attending the 37th Annual National Education & Leadership Awards (NELA) Gala, held at the Ronald Reagan Building & International Trade Center in Washington, D.C., with Umbria as the region of honour.
The event is organised by OSDIA, the Order Sons and Daughters of Italy in America (OSDIA), based in Washington, D.C., the largest organisation in the United States for men and women of Italian descent.
The recognition given to the Region is the result of the close relationship developed with OSDIA by the Università per Stranieri di Perugia in 2024.
