The objective of the project is to develop and pilot a new VET (Vocational Education and Training) curriculum to align it with the needs of the labor market in the Cultural Heritage sector to address climate change, formalizing the skills and abilities required for a new professional role: the Cultural Heritage Risk Manager. This will be achieved through four specific objectives:

SO1 – Gather evidence and raise awareness among relevant stakeholders in Europe about the need for well-trained and qualified professionals in the field of cultural heritage risk assessment;

SO2 – Analyze labor market needs and the different skill levels required to protect tangible Cultural Heritage from climate change;

SO3 – Prototype a digital tool (a cloud database with a user interface) needed by VET trainees to test their skills and gain practical experience as Risk Managers;

SO4 – Create and test in 4 European countries a modular professional training course for Cultural Heritage Risk Managers and Climate Change Officers, designed for blended learning (virtual and in-person).
