The project focuses on the critical analysis of relevant linguistic elements in the field of cultural transposition of theatrical texts, proposing an approach based on the intersection of disciplinary paradigms from Linguistics, Translation Studies, and Sociolinguistics. This investigation stems from the recognition of systemic issues such as power dynamics in the global hierarchy of languages, the economics of accessibility to an artistic product, and the resulting implications in terms of faithfulness to its cultural identity; areas whose re-examination is situated within the academic and ideological framework of Translanguaging.
