Linguistic collocations in the journalistic neostandard of the first two decades of the 21st century
The project proposes a corpus-based analysis of neo-standard Italian in the current linguistic context, using the newspaper article as the main writing model. The focus will be on the transitional period between the age of print and the digital era, particularly in the early years of the twenty-first century, with the aim of identifying the most significant linguistic transformations. The research will mainly focus on the analysis of a distinctive linguistic element, namely collocation, seen as both an indicator and a container of crucial information useful for understanding these changes.
