Climbing for Climate (CFC) is a demonstration initiative organized by the RUS (Network of Sustainable Universities) to raise local, national, and international public awareness of the effects of ongoing climate change, in line with the goals of the UN 2030 Agenda, in particular: combating climate change (SDG13), promoting life on land/protecting biodiversity (SDG15), as well as fostering sustainable tourism (SDG8), promoting social and economic inclusion of those living in peripheral areas (SDG10), and supporting sustainable communities (SDG11).
