Climbing for Climate (CFC) is a demonstration initiative organised by RUS (Network of Sustainable Universities) to raise local, national and international awareness of the ongoing effects of climate change, in line with the objectives of the UN 2030 Agenda, in particular: combating climate change (SDG13) and promoting terrestrial life/protecting biodiversity (SDG15), as well as encouraging sustainable tourism (SDG8), fostering social and economic inclusion for inhabitants of peripheral areas (SDG10), and supporting sustainable communities (SDG11).
