On April 14th at 6:00 PM, as part of the "Humans of research" initiative, a meeting will take place at Palazzo della Penna with Cecilia Emma Sottilotta (UnistraPG) and Emidio Albertini (UniPG).
The meeting will connect science, public policy, and global choices for the future.
Emidio Albertini is a Full Professor of Agricultural Genetics at the University of Perugia, where he serves as the Rector's Delegate for the Third Mission, Social Innovation, and Relations with Local Communities, as well as president of the POST Foundation – Perugia Workshop of Science and Technology. His research focuses on biodiversity and genetic improvement of plants for sustainable agriculture.
In conversation with him, Cecilia Emma Sottilotta, Associate Professor of Political Science at the University for Foreigners of Perugia and Visiting Professor at the College of Europe in Bruges. An expert in political risk and international relations, she sits on the Board of Directors of the Italian Institute for the Future and is the author of numerous scientific publications on European and Latin American politics. She analyzes decision-making processes and political risks in contemporary international relations.
