Alberto Azara

Alberto Azara has been a Researcher at the University for Foreigners of Perugia since March 1, 2024, and obtained his qualification for the position of Full Professor in the academic discipline IUS/01 (December 12, 2023). He graduated in law from Luiss Guido Carli with a thesis on the topic "Current relevance of the prohibition of succession agreements and prospects for overcoming it," receiving a score of 110 with honors and a special mention, on July 16, 2009. He completed his PhD in "Law of Contracts and Business Economics" (25th cycle) at Sapienza University of Rome (Department of Law and Economics of Productive Activities). He defended his doctoral thesis on the topic "Integration agreements of legitimate portions" (2013). He obtained the title of "Research Fellow" at Luiss Guido Carli (Department of Law) for the research project entitled "Private autonomy in business crises" (2014-2017). He was awarded the title of "Research Fellow" at Sapienza University of Rome (Department of Law) for the research project entitled "Sports offenses and civil liability" (2022-2023). He is the author of various works and has published the following monographs: “Agreements on legitimate portions” (2018); “Assignment of credit and performance” (2020); "Aspects of civil liability in sports fraud" (2023).
