The official visit to Mongolia by a university delegation led by the Rector, Prof. Valerio De Cesaris, has begun. The delegation includes Prof. Giovanna Scocozza, Delegate for International Relations and Director of the University Certification Centre; Prof. Stefania Scaglione, Delegate for Teaching; Dr. Valentina Seri, Head of the International Relations Service; and Dr. Sonia Giugliarelli, Head of the Press Office. The mission, which will conclude on 8 September 2026, will feature meetings at the National University of Mongolia, the Mongolian University of Science and Technology, the recently opened Italian School in Ulaanbaatar, the Mongolia Italy Association—an official partner of the University and a key reference point in Perugia for organizing events promoting Mongolian culture—and the Mongolia Italy Cultural Centre, which serves as a CELI certification site.
During the mission, a Memorandum of Understanding is scheduled to be signed with the National University of Mongolia, and CELI certificates will be awarded to candidates from the 2025 and 2026 examination sessions at the Mongolia Italy Cultural Centre.
