Extraordinary exam sessions
Any extraordinary examinations for Degree Programmes that are no longer active can be viewed in the
restricted area of Esse3WEB, according to the requests made by individual students."Extraordinary
examination sessions" refer to all assessments outside, and in addition to, the six ordinary sessions (three for Laboratory courses) that a lecturer is required to schedule in a given academic year (see the University Teaching Regulations).Students who need to take an exam for a course that is no
longer offered (extraordinary exam) may request to sit the exam with the lecturer whose classes or syllabus they attended, indicating the relevant academic year (this information can be found in the electronic record book or by consulting their study plan in Esse3web). Students who must take an exam for a discontinued course will sit the exam with a lecturer from a similar course in the same subject area (SSD).p>The lecturer sets a date according to their availability and communicates it to the Teaching Support and Student Administration Office of the Degree Programmes, which will open the relevant registration list in Esse3.Extraordinary examination sessions must also be scheduled within the designated
period.
