The Evaluation Committee of the Università per Stranieri di Perugia was established pursuant to Law 240/2010, Article 15 of the current Statute, and is responsible for:
- ensuring the evaluation of teaching, research activities and services
- promoting the improvement of the quality and effectiveness of the University’s teaching, research, and administrative activities
Pursuant to Article 2, paragraph 1, letter r) of Law 240/2010, the Evaluation Committee is assigned the functions set out in Article 14 of Legislative Decree 150/2009 (Independent Performance Evaluation Body) with regard to the evaluation procedures of structures and staff, with the aim of improving organisational and individual performance.
The members of the Evaluation Committee serve a three-year term, with the exception of the student representative who is appointed for two years; members may be reappointed for one consecutive term only. The Committee operates autonomously and is guaranteed access to the necessary information and data, as well as the publication and dissemination of its proceedings, in compliance with applicable regulations and privacy protection requirements.
By Rector’s Decree no. 173 of 30/04/2026, the Evaluation Committee of the University for Foreigners of Perugia has been reconstituted for the 2026–2029 term.
The appointments of the current members of the Evaluation Committee, pursuant to Article 15, paragraph 5, of the current Statute, have a duration of three years (from 01/05/2026 to 30/04/2029), with the exception of the student representative’s appointment, which lasts two years.

The Chair of the Evaluation Board is entitled to an annual gross remuneration of €6,972.16, excluding employer contributions. Members of the Evaluation Board are entitled to an annual gross remuneration of €6,507.40, excluding employer contributions.
