Extraordinary Exam Sessions
Any special examinations for discontinued Degree Programmes can be viewed in the reserved area of Esse3WEB, as requested by individual students.
"Special examination sessions" refers to all examinations that fall outside, and are in addition to, the six regular sessions—three for Laboratory courses—that a lecturer is required to schedule in a given academic year (see University Academic Regulations).
Students who need to sit an examination for a course that is no longer offered (special session) may submit a request to the lecturer from whom they attended lectures or followed the syllabus, indicating the relevant academic year (this information can be found in the electronic record book or by consulting the personal study plan on Esse3web). Students required to sit an examination for a discontinued course will do so with a lecturer responsible for a closely related subject area (SSD).
The lecturer schedules the exam based on availability and informs the Teaching Service and Student Administration Office of the Degree Programmes, which in turn opens the corresponding registration list in Esse3.
Special examination sessions must also be scheduled within the designated period.
