Would you like to travel and visit Umbria by bus with a single discounted fare pass?
Students enrolled for the academic year 2026-2027 can benefit from the TPL UMBRIA-UNIPG Pass subscription and travel without limits on the Regional Public Transport services of Umbria, which include:
- urban and suburban bus services
- railway line Sansepolcro – Terni and Perugia Ponte San Giovanni – Perugia Sant’Anna (formerly Ferrovia Centrale Umbra)
- Minimetrò
- Orvieto funicular
The following categories of students enrolled at the University for Foreigners of Perugia may apply for the pass:
- Bachelor’s Degree Programmes
- Master’s Degree Programmes
- Incoming Erasmus programme participants
- International students attending Italian language and culture courses
- PhD programmes
- First- and Second-Level Master’s programmes
- Advanced training courses
- Teacher training courses
- Single courses
To obtain the pass, you must first request it on the Esse3WEB platform of the Università per Stranieri di Perugia and pay the amount of €70.00 via Pago PA notice, either at the time of enrolment/registration or later.
- Access the Umbria Busitalia student/university subscription portal with your SALGO app credentials; if you do not have an account, proceed with registration.
- Create your virtual card by uploading a passport photo, selecting the UNIPG or UNIPG STRA profile (payment already made via PagoPA), entering your Tax Code (required only once to verify the €70.00 payment), and providing the mobile phone number of the device on which you use the SALGO app.
- Select the TPL UMBRIA-UNIPG pass subscription, enter the mobile phone number of the device you will use to access the pass (only one phone number linked to a single device can be selected), and complete the release procedure at no additional cost.
- Then, log into the SALGO app and authenticate with your credentials. Your personal pass will be available in the “MY PASSES” section of the app.
The pass is issued via the SALGO App, upon payment of the required fee, within five working days following payment.
The TPL UMBRIA-UNIPG pass is valid from 1 October 2026 to 30 September 2027.
