How to enroll in a degree program

Enrollment in bachelor's/master's degree courses (pursuant to Ministerial Decree 270/2004) - procedures and documentation

Online registrations

On August 1, 2025, enrollment opens for the 2025-2026 academic year for bachelor’s and master’s degree programs.

At the University’s Degree Programs Office, starting from the beginning of August, an Enrollment Point is available for students who wish to enroll in bachelor’s and master’s degree programs or renew their enrollment in years beyond the first. In addition to receiving information about their chosen program and administrative requirements, students are supported throughout the online enrollment process and guided in using the Esse3Web Platform.

How to proceed

  1. access the My Unistrapg Reserved Area (Esse3WEB)
  2. enter your details to create a user profile and thus access the online services
    fill out the enrollment form
  3. print the enrollment form
  4. submit or mail the form to the Degree Programs and Teaching Office, attaching the following documents:
    • two identical passport-sized photographs
    • a photocopy of a valid identity document
    • where applicable, documentation proving the requirements for exemption from university fees and contributions not related to ISEEU
    • non-EU citizens residing abroad are also required to present a valid residence permit and the documentation specified by the ministerial circular, which can be found on the website: http://www.studiare-in-italia.it/studentistranieri
Failure to present the residence permit, and subsequently a copy of the permit being renewed, affects the formal validity of the enrollment; as a result, the student will not be able to carry out any actions related to their university career

Students who are unable to personally submit the enrollment application and any attachments may:

  • have the documentation delivered by another person who is provided with a specific authorization and a copy of the delegator’s valid identification document
  • send the documentation by registered mail to the following address: Università per Stranieri, Servizio Segreteria corsi di laurea e didattica, Piazza Fortebraccio 4, 06123 Perugia
  • send the documentation via certified email to protocollo@pec.unistrapg.it

The University is not responsible for any issues of any kind that may arise from sending the application via postal service or delegated person.

For payment deadlines and any late fees in case of missed deadlines, please refer to the second part of the Course Catalog.

Late and provisional registrations

By February 28, 2026, late enrollment applications may be accepted, for justified reasons, if submitted after the deadline.

Enrollment applications submitted after February 28, 2026, may be considered only in cases of particular seriousness, upon a specific request by the student.
If such a request is accepted, the student must immediately complete the administrative process related to enrollment, including payment of any late fees accrued due to missed deadlines.

Students who are not properly enrolled will not be allowed, under penalty of nullity, to register for exam sessions or to take the corresponding exams until their administrative situation has been fully regularized.

The University does not accept responsibility for situations arising from delayed regularization of the student's administrative status.

Conditional enrollment in the first year of a master’s degree program is allowed, provided that students obtain the required academic degree for admission by the thesis session of February 2026.

Conditional enrollment must comply with the admission requirements for master’s degree courses as well as with the procedures, deadlines, and payment of fees (including any installments and accrued late fees) established by the Academic Regulations.

Simultaneous enrollment in two degree programs

In compliance with Law no. 33/2022 and related Ministerial Decrees no. 930/2022 and no. 933/2022, it is possible to enroll simultaneously:

  • in two degree courses belonging to different bachelor's or master's degree classes, provided that the two courses differ in at least two-thirds of their educational activities
