The ECHE charter, granted following an application by the European Commission, is the document intended for Higher Education Institutions deemed eligible by the MIUR to apply for the Erasmus Plus – University Sector program, which allows the university to participate in international initiatives and to compete for funding from the new ERASMUS + Program for Education, Training, Youth and Sport in the period 2021 – 2027.
The ECHE defines the overall quality framework within which the European and international cooperation activities that a higher education institution can carry out in the context of the Erasmus + Program are inscribed, and it is a prerequisite for participation in the Program itself.
