Among its numerous international partnerships and networks, the Stranieri di Perugia is a member of the CUIA (Italian-Argentinian University Consortium), UniMed (Union of Mediterranean Universities), and EMUni (Euro-Mediterranean University).
The University is also contributing to the establishment of the Italo-Egyptian University (currently under development), has its own Center for the teaching of Italian language and culture at the Giovanni Paolo II Foundation (Palestine), and a desk at the John D. Calandra Italian American Institute, Queens College (CUNY) in New York (USA) for the implementation of student and faculty exchanges, the organization of meetings, conferences, and seminars, and for the development of joint research projects.
Cultural and scientific cooperation agreements
More than four hundred cultural and scientific cooperation agreements, signed with universities and other institutions around the world, provide for exchange programs for students, faculty, and administrative staff, the organization of cultural activities, seminars and events, the exchange of documentation and information concerning areas of common interest, as well as benefits for enrollment in Italian language and culture courses.
This network of relationships is further enriched by a large number of contacts: Italian Cultural Institutes, Embassies, Consulates, Italian schools and Chambers of Commerce abroad, and departments of Italian studies at foreign universities.
