Microsoft 365 is a platform that includes the Office suite, cloud services, and a range of applications and features for inclusion and accessibility, in order to meet personal needs such as screen reading, dictation, and voice commands.

Accessibility features can be set on all devices.

With this tool, you can:

SensusAccess is an automated conversion tool designed to meet students’ alternative media needs. The service allows users to transform reading materials from one format to another, such as converting PDF files into MP3 audio for listening, or into formats like Doc or eBook to facilitate use with assistive software like Kurzweil or for reading on mobile devices like Kindle and Android. To use the platform, students must access the conversion page of their institution using their university email, and the service sends the converted file to the user by email in about ten minutes, with the recommendation to use the “cleanest” source files possible to achieve the best conversion results.

Furthermore, Mindomo emphasizes real-time collaboration and the ability to assign priorities and deadlines to tasks, allowing users to work from any location and device. Its features include various views such as Gantt charts and diagrams, integrations with cloud systems like Google Drive, and optimization for classroom use, integrating with learning management platforms like Moodle.

XMind

XMind is a program for creating mind maps and diagrams, timelines, and tables.

It offers a wide variety of basic templates and plenty of possibilities for customization and creativity.

XMind includes both an open source version and a Pro version available by subscription.

Echo II Livescribe

Echo II Livescribe is a Smartpen that helps take notes because it records and synchronizes the audio with handwritten notes.

With this tool it is possible to:

  • replay audio directly from the notebook by tapping on the notes
  • digitize handwritten notes
  • store recordings and notes within the Livescribe+ app

The Livescribe+ software is available for Windows and Mac OS platforms as well as for Android, Apple, and Amazon Fire tablets and smartphones.

To use it, you need notebooks printed with a dot pattern (isometric paper).

Presentation of the Livescribe 3 smartpen, a device that transforms handwriting into digital actions. The video is about an innovative application created to support the learning of children with dyslexia. This app was designed by Filippo Barbera, a support teacher from Vicenza, who developed the tool to help students with difficulties similar to his own. Filippo was diagnosed at an early age, before the age of thirty, with a combination of learning disorders, including dyslexia, dysorthography, dysgraphia, and dyscalculia. Despite these early challenges, he completed two degrees and a master's, and is now dedicated to sharing his strategies with other educators. Barbera's main goal is to demonstrate that such difficulties are not insurmountable, but can be overcome with the right tools and support.

Reasy is an application that provides an accessible and customizable learning environment.

Its main features allow you to upload a PDF file, jpeg, and photos of notes so you can edit, listen to, analyze them, and automatically create mind maps.
