The Italian network for digital education innovation
Durata:

The University for Foreigners of Perugia is a member of EduNext – Next Education Italy, a national network that brings together 35 universities and 5 AFAM institutes. The project, funded by the Ministry of Universities and Research (MUR) with over 22 million euros as part of the PNRR, aims to improve and innovate digital education in Italy.
The EduNext network involves over 700,000 students and more than 25,000 lecturers and researchers. The goal is to transform digital education in Italy through new degree courses, master’s programs, and other training courses, with an inclusive, flexible, and cutting-edge model capable of effectively responding to the current and future needs of the labor market and society. An ambitious undertaking, it aims to become a reference point for the digital transformation of education, increasing the quality and accessibility of educational opportunities and promoting a culture of digital education among citizens, thus facilitating inclusion and reducing inequalities in access to education.
UniStraPG, a leading institution in Italy for the dissemination of the Italian language and culture worldwide, participates in the EduNext network by offering, starting from the 2026-2027 academic year, two master’s programs in Teaching Italian as a Non-Native Language at first and second levels, as well as a series of MOOCs (Massive Open Online Courses), including courses dedicated to learning the Italian language and Montessori teaching methods.
