Nota biografica: 

-Emidio Diodato is a full professor of Political Science at the University for Foreigners of Perugia. He coordinates the Standing Group of International Relations (SGRI) of the Italian Society of Political Science (SISP). He has published numerous essays and books. Of particular note, on Italian foreign policy, are two books (both for Palgrave): "Italy in International Relations. The Foreign Policy Conundrum" (2017) and "Berlusconi 'The Diplomat'. Populism and Foreign Policy in Italy" (2019). On the same topic, he has just published the "Handbook of Italian Foreign Policy" (in Italian, Il Mulino). He has been scientifically responsible for 3 projects funded by the European Union and a visiting scholar in several international institutions, mainly in Ukraine, Turkey, and the United States. In the past year, he has published on various topics of international and comparative politics in "Contemporary Politics," "The International Spectator" and "Contemporary Italian Politics."
