Strategic Plan of the University

cover of the strategic plan

In 2021, the University for Foreigners of Perugia entered its "long centenary", marking the period between the inception of the first Higher Culture courses in 1921 and the establishment of the University in 1925. The academic community chose to commemorate the centenary not with a single solemn ceremony, but rather as a period of renewal, characterised by a series of initiatives aimed at projecting the University into a new era at the dawn of its second century of existence.

The University's Strategic Plan for the 2025-2027 triennium sets out key objectives structured into four interrelated strategic lines, aligned with the University's mission and the outcomes of the first three-year period of the Rector's mandate. It seeks to ensure continuity in planning and to consolidate the goals already achieved. The integrated approach encompassing strategy, performance, and budgeting is upheld, ensuring that the operational planning of administrative structures is aligned, in a cascading logic, with the strategic lines and objectives. Additionally, it takes into account economic and financial planning, as well as the dimensions of anti-corruption and quality assurance.
