Nota biografica: 

Toni Marino - MA Modern Literature / MA Publishing / PhD Book and Writing Sciences - is a professor of Semiotics and Narratology. His research path has developed starting from studies on Structuralism and Semiotics of the text, with applications to narrative text and editorial production, with particular reference to the study of paratext. His initial research concerned the study of visual-verbal narrative and the visual translation of narrative texts. Subsequently, he deepened his studies in cognitive narratology and psychonarratology, introducing the experimental method into his research activities, applied to the study of reading reactions to narrative texts, with particular reference to the phenomena of narrative persuasion.
