The University of Foreigners Perugia guarantees the right to education and university instruction of all disabled persons, in order to ensure the effective enjoyment of the right to study and encourage full respect of human dignity, and the rights of freedom and independence and to promote complete integration into society, as laid down by the Law of the 5th February 1992 n° 104, modified by Law 28th January 1999 n° 17.

In November 2007 the  Committee for the Support of Disabled Students was formed. Furthering requests from the students made to the authorities, the Committee considers technical and economic feasibilities in providing the most suitable services to respond to these requests.

To ensure an efficient response, requests will have to be submitted in anticipation (at least three months) before the beginning of that service will take place.
